How it works
Your own app in four steps.
A payment only falls due once you have checked and accepted your app. The free trial access is enough for the first three steps.
2. Try out
The app is immediately available in the LinaFora WebApp on your phone. You record real operations and create PDFs – and notice what is still missing. Changes are possible at any time and as often as you like.
3. Accept
Once the app is finished, we check it together with you. You receive a binding quote for exactly this scope of functions and a written statement of what is delivered.
4. Take over
You receive your app as a finished application: a single file that runs on any device without an account and without an internet connection, plus the complete Android project for the Play Store.

Maintenance is optional.
A purchased app keeps running as it was delivered – permanently and without further payment. Anyone who wants adjustments, new fields or follow-up for new Android and iOS versions can take out a maintenance contract (15 % of the purchase price per year). Without it, nothing changes in your app – neither for better nor for worse.

Three things, and all three belong to you.
The app as a single file
A single HTML file that contains everything: your fields, your logo, your colours, the evaluation, the PDF output. It runs on any phone, tablet and computer, without registration, without an account with us and without an internet connection. Copy it onto as many devices as you like.
The project for the store
The complete Android Studio project (and, on request, the Xcode project) from which the installable app can be built – with your name, your icon and your colour. You publish with it under your own developer account or have us do it.
A right of use without an end date
In writing, simple and without a right of recall: you may use the app in your company for an unlimited period, on as many devices as you like, even after any business relationship with us has ended.

The following points are not part of the purchase offer.
It stays as it is
Without a maintenance contract, a purchased app receives no new functions and no adaptations to future Android or iOS versions.
Shared data needs a server
The purchased app stores data on the device. If several employees are to see the same data, pass protocols on to one another or use central templates, a server is needed – either the LinaFora subscription or an installation of your own, which we offer separately.
The store requires an account of its own
Google and Apple only publish under a developer account with its own review and its own annual fee. We deliver the project ready-made; the account and the publication remain with you, unless you expressly hand them over to us.
Vehicle data is a snapshot
The included vehicle library reflects the state at handover. Later models are not in it – the number is still read, only the vehicle is no longer named automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Buy or rent?
When is buying worthwhile?
When the workflow is settled and rarely changes, and when the app is mainly used on the device. Compared with the Professional package, the purchase price pays for itself after about two years – after that the app costs nothing more.
When is the subscription worthwhile?
When several employees work together, protocols are to be collected centrally or the workflow is still changing. Then the monthly package is cheaper and always up to date.
Combination
Purchase and subscription can be combined: a purchased app for the stable workflow, the subscription for the rest. The purchase price is reduced by three monthly fees.
What happens to the data?
They stay on your devices. The purchased app does not connect to LinaFora; protocols, photos and entries are not transmitted.
